Vocational and language education

International work should reflect the purpose, duration and delivery arrangements of the programme. IESG supports vocational, skills and language providers with market preparation, partnership development and the practical organisation of institutional work.

A route suited to your provision

A short language course, an employer-facing skills programme and a longer vocational pathway involve different audiences, operating conditions and partner needs. Begin with the actual offer and the organisation responsible for it.

Useful initial information includes programme purpose, delivery location or format, intended learner groups, entry conditions and the role a prospective partner would perform. We use these details to agree a service scope suited to your provision.

Recruitment and institutional relationships

Providers may seek professional recruitment organisations, programme partners or another route to an identified audience. A clear brief establishes the type of relationship required and the information needed before discussions progress.

Where a representative is being considered, the institution should establish the scope of authority, use of programme information, handling of enquiries and relevant commercial responsibilities.

Market and programme preparation

Research can help assess whether the intended audience, communication and channel approach are well matched. The task might focus on a market, a programme category or assumptions in an existing recruitment plan.

Before approaching a market, confirm consistent programme information covering content, delivery, fees and the qualification or completion record offered. Where rights or recognition come from another body, identify the supporting record and its scope.

Internal processes and team practice

A provider may need help organising operational records, clarifying responsibilities or following up issues identified internally. A bounded improvement task can address those needs without assuming that a whole-organisation review is required.

Practical training can support the people who manage partner information, institutional evidence or professional communications. The audience, objectives and form of completion record are agreed for the engagement.

EducationB2B participation

Eligible vocational, skills and language providers can consider the platform's education-provider route. Its published rules determine the information required and the process for participation.

Responsibilities that remain with the provider

The institution is responsible for its legal operation, programme offer, admissions and services accepted under its contracts. A market or partnership engagement does not grant qualification recognition, immigration permission or credit transfer.

Any activity involving another provider should identify the teaching, awarding, administrative and commercial roles separately. That account helps prospective learners and partners understand the provision they are considering.

Practical preparation

Use a short partnership brief to define the offer and intended contribution of each party. Maintain a record of material programme information and the people able to approve changes.

Include the provider, programme type, delivery arrangement and institutional objective. If the enquiry concerns ICEQC support, identify that separately so that authorisation and scope can be considered for the proposed case.
